Speedball II: Brutal Deluxe a classic sport combat game by Empire Interactive is now available on Xbox Live Arcade.
From what i remembered about the original Speedball, that came out during the 90’s for the Amiga game console was a flop, but amazingly gained popularity on its sequel Speedball II by Bitmap Brothers.
Now be prepared to experience Speedball II in it’s ever lovable 2D form, but wait there’s more you can also experience a totally new twist of the classic game because it also includes a high-definition version for new sets of teams and other downloadable content. Speedball II: Brutal Deluxe can be played along with a friend via head-to-head, two-player competitions locally or by logging on to Xbox Live, costs about 800 Microsoft Points and is rated E (everyone).
The game features 32 teams, 4 leagues, cup and knockout competitions, team enhancements, management and training options, and Ranked Preset or Ranked Career games.
