Xbox 360 Arcade
There are rumors and sighting of the $280 system know as “Xbox 360 Arcade”, a new low-cost version of Microsoft’s game console. Well the “Core” which recently had a price cut to $280 in August, that comes with a wired gamepad and no default games or storage. The “Arcade” will come with a 256MB memory card, and a wireless controller just like his brothers the “standard” and “Elite” 360s, but no hard drive. And there is also rumored game bundles that will come with every purchase of the “arcade” such as “Uno,” “Pac-Man,” “Feeding Frenzy,” “Luxor 2″ and “Boom-Boom Rocket.”
Will this new box revive our gamers? or still flood us with reports of (again) having the RROD experience, which by me personally is crappy for a console to have that kind of problem. Although destined as “just another Arcade Box” come on, You can do better than that… 256MB memory card no HDD, the memory card is only good for saved games. And also I need to know if the “arcade” has an HDMI port before I decide to buy it. Can you believe that some potential buyers are seriously “off”ing this product because it just might be another waste of money, and is $30 more expensive than Wii. So how come it’s such a big deal to us, Come on this, an Xbox were talking about. It should be the best d@mn console ever, not some other dude’s paperweight! This console should be able to rock our worlds and keep us gaming forever.
